Recycling Event Information

Event Sponsor: Thomas M. Menino, Mayor of Boston, and University of Massachusetts Boston.

Public Event: No Appointment Necessary.

Date: Saturday, April 26, 2008 (Rain or Shine), Time: 9 AM to 2 PM.

Location:  University of Massachusetts Boston, 100 Morrissey Boulevard, Boston, MA 02125                  

Notes: Individuals can drop off equipment only during the public event. There are no quantity limits for individual drop-offs.

Cost: There is no cost to the participants.

Material Accepted:  Computers, monitors, televisions, LCD panels, printers, other computer related equipment, stereos, cell and other phones, power supplies, electronic games, VCRs, circuit boards,  and other household electronic devices.

Materials Not Accepted: Air conditioners, de-humidifiers, microwaves, and white goods such as washers, dryers, stoves and refrigerators.

Participants: This event is open to everyone.

Structure: Public event: One-day public drop off event, April 26, 2008.
