- For each box, the maximum measurements allowed are 26"
X 26" X26" inches by 26 inches. The maximum weight allowed
is 60 pounds.
- The box can contain personal computer equipment - monitors,
CPUs, laptops, mice and keyboards - and peripherals such as printers,
scanners, and digital cameras.
- Items that cannot be included are disassembled monitors,
monitors with shattered, broken or cracked screens, loose batteries,
and battery backup units (UPS).
- Used boxes are fine, but they must be sturdy enough to hold
and protect the material that you wish to ship. They must be in
good condition, i.e., no water damage, puncture, tears, or crushed
points. If you need a new box, it can be purchased at an office
goods store or a packaging center. Ask for assistance in selecting
the proper one.
- All seams must be taped with wide packaging tape.
- Surround the equipment with bubble wrap, foam peanuts, or other
similar padding as packaging material. Make sure that there is
a layer of cushioning material between the inside of the box and
the equipment.
- To maximize the material contained in the shipping container,
we suggest placing the monitor on its side against one corner
of the box and then putting the remainder of the equipment into
the container. Wrap the monitor in packaging material first, before
putting it into the box.
- Once all of the equipment is in your box, seal the top of the
box with packaging tape.
- Either write " FRAGILE" and "UP" with an
arrow
on each box shipped, or attach sticker enclosed in the
ARM Shipping Label Mailer.
- Attach the prepaid shipping label to the top of the box, and
deliver to the local UPS drop-off for shipment.
- To find the nearest UPS drop-off, contact UPS either at their
web site www.ups.com
or telephone number
1-800-742-5877.
