Remove data from hard drives or other data devices.
In our recycling process data devices are securely shredded
and fully destroyed. However, since Recycle A PC cannot fully control access to the devices until we receive your shipment,
we recommend you remove all data prior to shipping.

Obtain appropriate shipping cartons.
For each box, the maximum measurements allowed are
26¨ x 26¨ x 26¨. The maximum weight allowed is 60 pounds.
If cartons are still available from purchasing your computer
and they are in good condition they can serve as shipping
cartons. Reusing sturdy shipping containers from other
items is suitable as long as they are heavy duty and
provide appropriate cushioning of monitors. Heavy-duty
shipping cartons are also available for sale from packaging
stores, post offices, or discount stores.

Securely pack and seal the cartons.
To maximize the material contained in the shipping container, we suggest wrapping the monitor in bubble wrap or formed insulation and placing it on its side against one corner of the box. This will provide more space for other items. Fill the remainder of the box with equipment for recycling. Make sure that there is a layer
of cushioning material such as bubble wrap, foam peanuts, or
other packaging as padding between the inside of the box and
the equipment.

Once all of the equipment is in your box, seal the top of the box and all seams with wide packaging tape. Either write "FRAGILE" and "UP" with an arrow or attach a Fragile sticker.

Obtain pre-paid shipping label.
Complete the Order Form to receive a prepaid shipping label via email for each of the cartons you’ve prepared to have recycled. Your Pre-paid label will cover the cost of shipping and electronic recycling services for each carton within the size and weight parameters noted. Please note this service is not available in Hawaii or Alaska.

Recycle your computer and monitor

Ship cartons via UPS.
Apply “Fragile” or “Up” labels to the sides of the carton as needed. After you print your Pre-Paid Label, attach it to the top of the box, and deliver to the local UPS drop-off for shipment. To find the nearest UPS drop-off, go to www.ups.com. Approximately 4 weeks after shipping you will receive confirmation that your materials have been recycled according to the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility.
